About US
Ascend Spine and Pain offers the convenience of multiple locations and highly-trained specialists working together in a multi-disciplinary environment to provide comprehensive, expert-level care and solutions for your pain. Members of our interdisciplinary team cover different offices yet work closely together in communication regarding the best minimally-invasive approaches to patient care.
This allows patients to be accurately diagnosed and treated with the up-to-date procedures utilizing cutting edge technology. Additionally, our surgical team provides continuous mentorship to our pain physicians. This promotes effective communication and seamless transition of care to more advanced surgical procedures when necessary for your condition.
In addition to taking a history and physical exam, our physicians are trained under a neurosurgical paradigm to routinely review MRI images/CT scans with patients to make a clear diagnosis of the underlying problem. We are also supported by a neurosurgeon and orthopedic surgeons that are spine and joint specialists who provide ‘behind the scenes’ consultation for the primary pain physicians.
When interventional procedures for pain management do not provide adequate relief, our surgeons are experts in minimally-invasive procedures to address the full-spectrum of spine and joint pain. The physicians in the practice are proficient in performing procedures under fluoroscopic guidance either in the office and/or ASC. We also have an affiliation with anesthesia in office network that can provide board certified anesthesiologists and CRNAs if needed for controlled sedation in an office environment.
